In this hands-on clay class, young artists dive into the magical world of sculpting as they pinch, roll, build, and shape their very own clay masterpieces. Kids will explore fun techniques, experiment with tools, and discover how a simple lump of clay can become anything they dream up, from friendly creatures to functional pottery.

This class is perfect for kids who love to create, explore, and try new things. By the end, they’ll take home fired and finished pieces they’ll be excited to show off and the pride that comes from creating something from scratch.

Instructor Laura Reynolds

Laura Reynolds has a lifelong love for creativity from being the craft lady at summer and church camps to developing numerous community art projects. 

Having worked as a physical therapist for many years with special needs children, she understands the importance of meeting everyone where they are and help them develop self-esteem and confidence.  Laura incorporates this into each of her classes.

Laura is a retired physical therapist who loves to express her creativity through gardening, pottery, printmaking and weaving.
