We are a group of community members of varied backgrounds and ages who love the arts. We believe that everyone has creative potential. We know that participating in the arts gives people confidence, helps improve focus, requires practice and patience, and has an overall positive emotional impact. We look forward to the Hub providing opportunities for people to discover, explore, and nurture their creative potential.

Fine Arts education had a large impact on who I grew to be as an adult. The Arts wing of my high school was definitely where you could find me partaking in most everything that was offered. I have experienced firsthand how being involved in the Arts gives youth outlets for self-expression, creates a sense of community for them, and teaches lessons that reinforce those learned within the academic classroom. I am excited to be apart the Arts Hub in presenting opportunities to the community of Waupaca and strengthen partnerships that enrich the education of our youth.

Since I have 25 years of experience teaching and facilitating in a community music school, I feel compelled to offer anything I can in order to make that space a sustaining part of Waupaca.

I have loved music for as long as I can remember. I began singing and playing the piano when I was 7 years old and have appreciated the opportunities music has provided for me and the people and relationships I have found along the way. I am proud to be part of our Waupaca community and am excited to be involved in an organization that helps our kids and our community find their own passions and find ways to use their individual and collective talent and creativity.

I like having the Arts Hub as an affordable local music, art, and cooking class option for children and adults of all ages to have access to in the city of Waupaca. I have been taking piano lessons for 3 years, after pausing for 20 years, and have really enjoyed working on this skill again. The kids have grown so much through taking piano lessons for the last couple of years with learning how to do recitals, doing challenges in lessons, and getting confidence in their newly acquired skill. As a parent, It's fun to watch them grow!
