Membership
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Membership pricing is based on the number of people in your household. A typical family membership is:
$150 per year when paid in one payment—less than $3 per week for the entire family
Monthly installments of $15 per month, for a total of $180 per year.
If you select the installment plan online, our system will automatically send you payment requests. Your membership must remain current to be used. If an installment is missed, the membership—and any related class discounts—will be inactive until the account is brought up to date.
-
You may pay by cash, check, or credit card at the Arts Hub front desk. You may also purchase your membership online.
If paying online, the system will automatically send you a payment request. If a membership installment is not made each month, the membership will be invalid for that month. If you are paying monthly and do not pay one month, you will not be able to claim the discount on any classes you may register for that month.
-
Tuition assistance is not currently available for annual memberships. However, qualifying families may apply for a reduced-cost EBT membership for $15 per year.
The EBT membership provides access to Create & Grow and the Backyard, but it does not include discounts on POP pottery, classes, or other programs.
Families may apply separately for tuition assistance for eligible classes and music lessons. POP is not covered by our assistance programs. -
Memberships are not transferable and may not be loaned to adults or children who are not included on the membership.
If a grandparent would like to bring your children to Create & Grow, you have three options:The grandparent may pay the $5 one-time admission fee.
Two grandparents may purchase a separate grandparent membership for $65 per year.
You may purchase a $25 grandparent add-on for one named grandparent.
A grandparent add-on ends when your family membership ends, regardless of when the add-on was purchased. Depending on how often the grandparent visits and when your membership renews, you can choose the option that works best for your family.
-
Families who employ a nanny, babysitter, or other regular caregiver may purchase a caregiver add-on. This allows one named caregiver to bring the children included on the family’s membership to Create & Grow and the Backyard.
A caregiver must be at least 15 years old. Siblings may not supervise younger siblings unless they are at least 15.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Children ages 10 and older may visit without an adult when:
The child is included on a current annual membership.
A parent or guardian has provided written permission.
Current emergency contact information is on file.
Children visiting independently must sign in when they arrive and sign out when they leave. They are expected to behave safely and respectfully, follow the Arts Hub Code of Conduct, and follow all staff instructions.
Please note that the arrangement for busing between the Waupaca Arts Hub and the School District of Waupaca is for students who will be taking lessons or enrolled in a class. Students visiting the Arts Hub only for Create and Grow will not be on the bus roster given to the School District and will not be allowed to ride.
Unsafe or disruptive behavior—or failure to follow staff instructions—may result in a parent or guardian being contacted and the child losing independent-visit privileges.
Children using a day pass may not visit without an adult, regardless of age. -
Children under age 10 must have a parent or caregiver with them in Create and Grow. This person must be at least 15 years old.
The only exception is for a child who:Is included on a current annual membership;
Is attending a scheduled music lesson or Arts Hub class; and
Is spending time in Create & Grow within one hour of that scheduled activity.
For example, an eight-year-old student has a music lesson at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The student rides the bus from the Waupaca Learning Center and arrives at the Arts Hub at 2:15 p.m. Because the student is included on a current annual family membership and has a scheduled lesson within two hours, the student may use Create & Grow while waiting for the lesson.
Parents must complete any required permission and emergency-contact forms in advance. Children must check in when they arrive and follow all Arts Hub rules and staff instructions. -
Preschools or Daycares that wish to bring their students to Create and Grow must make prior arrangements with the Arts Hub staff. Please email inquiries to Info@WaupacaArtsHub.org.
