Hub for the Holidays!
The Hub is buzzing this month with holiday cheer! We will be closed the week of Thanksgiving, then come back to a season full of excitement. From recitals and the lighting of the tree to the Yuletide Trail, Artful Trees, Thanksgiving, and the start of Hanukkah, there’s something magical around every corner.
Recitals are scheduled for December 13th and 14th, and they are special for everyone involved. Our students shine on stage, building confidence and feeling the joy of performing for a supportive audience.
Giving a recital is an important part of learning music—it teaches students discipline, focus, and how to set and realize goals. It also helps them celebrate progress, take pride in their accomplishments, and develop valuable life skills like poise and responsibility.
For many young guests, it’s their first live music experience, sparking dreams of someday playing piano, guitar, or saxophone themselves. And nothing beats the delight of seeing friends and family clap, cheer, and celebrate each performer. December is a busy month for so many, but if you have time to attend our recitals or any of the concerts at our local schools, it will be time well spent.
This will also be our final recital at the First United Methodist Church, which has been a wonderful home for us for four wonderful years. We are so grateful to the church community for welcoming us, supporting our programs, and helping make these musical moments possible.
