Welcome, Carol Couillard!
Carol Couillard in her temporary office, Fall 2025
I am delighted to introduce myself as the new executive director of the Waupaca Arts Hub! Stepping into this role feels like a natural extension of something I have always believed: that lifelong learning opportunities move us forward, as individuals and as a community. When we give ourselves space to explore, create, and discover, we not only enrich our own lives—we also strengthen the connections that hold us together.
I love that the Arts Hub brings people of all ages and interests together under one roof. You might see a group strumming their first chords in a beginning ukulele class, a student learning the basics of drawing, a teen proudly serving up grilled cheese and tomato soup in a cooking class, or a team of kids huddled around a Lego robotics project, solving problems together. Every corner of the Hub is buzzing with learning. The Arts Hub is more than just a place to take classes—it’s a space where creativity sparks connection.
I’m especially excited about how the Arts Hub blends so many parts of our region—schools, local businesses, fellow nonprofits, artists, and neighbors who want to learn and share. Together, we are shaping something unique: a place where the arts, education, and community spirit meet.
As we begin this new chapter, I invite you to dream with us. What classes would you love to see offered? What exhibits or performances would you like to watch in the event space? Your ideas and involvement are essential in helping the Hub grow into the resource our community needs most.
I hope you’ll stop by, take a class, volunteer, or simply say hello. Please feel free to email me carolc@waupacaartshub.org. I am excited to meet new faces, hear new stories, and imagine what we can build together. A community that learns will always grow—and I’m pleased to be part of that journey with you.
