Drum Lessons
All students must have access to an instrument. For drum students that includes:
A basic drum set is preferred in the home for students to practice. This would include the essentials (bass drum, snare, hi-hat, ride cymbal) Most starter kits come with the essentials.
Students may start with a practice pad and/or snare drum but should look to graduate to a drum set as they continue lessons.

Jack Mutschler
Jack Mutschler has had a passion for music for as long as he can remember. From Appleton, he began playing piano when he was six and the drums when he was eleven.
Jack has a degree in percussion performance from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and studied percussion performance at Colorado State University. He is a skilled classical musician who performed with the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra, among other professional gigs.
He’s taught percussion to a diverse group of students from UW-Stevens Point, Colorado State University, the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra Youth Orchestra, Central Wisconsin Youth Symphony, Antigo High School’s Drum Line, and Heid Music’s Rock University. Jack also enjoys mixing and recording audio and currently works for Sound Fire DJ in Green Bay and the Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship as an AV technician. Jack looks forward to bringing his love of music to his students.
Rebecca Kolonick
Teaches: Ages 8 - Adult

Rebecca Kolonick grew up in the Waupaca area and is very excited to be back. She has taught in public and private schools for nine years, including teaching grades 4K-12th in different classes such as band, orchestra, general music, and choir. Her specialty is percussion. She enjoys working on a variety of music and looks forward to the different opportunities that the Art Hub presents for the community.
