Piano Lessons

All students must have access to an instrument. For piano students that includes:

  • Acoustic piano - in good tune, please let us know if you need a reputable tuner.

  • The bench should be appropriate to the student’s size.

  • Electronic keyboards are also acceptable but should be of good quality with 88 keys (no toy-level or small 48-key Casios with miniature keys please).

  • Once a student uses the pedals, a pedal box might be recommended for smaller students to reach. If the student is using an electronic keyboard, a pedal attachment will need to be purchased so they can continue progressing with their lessons.
