David Poeschl

BME, MA, MS, PhD

Teaches: Ages 10 - Adult

Dr Poeschl began his professional career as a grades 7-12 Instrumental Music Teacher in Oakfield, WI, after graduating from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Music Education degree.

While his major instrument is the trumpet, he taught all band instruments, including woodwind, brass, and percussion, for ten years before moving on to a school administration career.

He helped pay his way through college playing in a wedding band named “The Then and Now Quintet.” His most recent performances on trumpet include participation in the orchestra accompanying the Waupaca Community Choir. He looks forward to helping students with their instruments once again.
