Dive into the exciting world of artificial intelligence with Code.org’s innovative module, “How AI Makes Decisions,” for upper elementary and middle school students! This course is geared towards girls, but all are welcome to attend. This module is named to highlight its focus on unraveling the processes that AI systems use to analyze training data and make decisions. In these five lessons, AI concepts are broken down into engaging, age-appropriate lessons that focus on the critical role of data.

Diane Doersch is a leader in Wisconsin’s tech community and a member of WIT Wisconsin (Women in Technology). With a passion for making technology approachable and empowering, she brings real-world experience in coding and artificial intelligence to learners of all ages. This spring at the Waupaca Arts Hub, Diane is excited to help students explore coding and AI in creative, hands-on ways.
