Crazy Cool Chemistry: Reactions & Real-World Science

Get ready to mix, fizz, and discover!

In this hands-on STEAM camp, students will explore exciting chemical reactions while learning what’s happening at the atomic level. We’ll investigate acids and bases, energy changes, physical vs. chemical reactions, temperature, catalysts and how scientists control reactions in the real world.

Campers will also explore different branches of chemistry, including biochemistry (chemistry in living things), forensic science, organic chemistry, environmental chemistry, and materials science. Along the way, we’ll connect experiments to real careers.

Perfect for curious students who love to ask “Why did that happen?!” and want to see science in action.

Location: ARTS HUB - 515 School Street, Waupaca, WI 54981

(No refunds will be offered within two weeks of the first-class date.)
