DECORATIVE ACRYLIC PAINTING - for all skill levels 

Learn how to use Acrylic Paints to turn ordinary objects into interesting pieces of functional art. Whether you choose a terracotta pot, wooden picture frame, or a woven basket you will learn to apply essential painting techniques that include color mixing, brushwork, and blending. Images and templates of fauna, flora, and animals will be supplied for inspiration.  

Step by step instruction will help you to bring new life to whatever object you choose to decorate.  

BRING YOUR OWN OBJECT OF CHOICE  All other materials will be supplied.  

Acrylic paint only works best on wood and other natural materials. Acrylics do not stay adhered to metals, glass or plastic.

I have been making a living as a working Artist since 1978. I have experience in watercolors, oils, calligraphy and collage. While living in Virginia I have had the opportunity to teach children in schools and host adult workshops in a variety of mediums. I sell my works of art in galleries, art shows and by commission.
