Class Times: 1:00-3:30 p.m.

Number of Instruction Hours: 12.5 and 5 hours open studio

Ages: Adult

This relaxed, beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamentals of hand building with clay. Participants will learn core techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction while creating functional and decorative pieces. The class also covers basic surface design, proper joining, and an overview of the firing process. No prior experience is necessary just an interest in learning, creating, and enjoying time working with clay.  5 open studio hours included with class to work on your skills on your own. Have some experience already? Feel free to use this as open studio time and get tips from the instructor as needed. All supplies included.

I enjoy creating with clay and watercolor. I have been doing pottery for about 20 years and have had the joy of working with some very inspirational artists throughout those years.  The studio is my happy place, and I enjoy teaching and creating with others.
