Intro to Wheel Tuesdays Fall 2026

Tuesdays, Sept 22, 29, Oct 6, 13, & 20

Class Times: 5:00-7:30 pm

Hours of Instruction: 12.5 plus 5 hours of open studio

Ages: 16+

Registration Deadline: September 7th

Perfect for beginners and returning students! In this wheel-throwing class, you’ll learn how to center clay, build bowls and mugs, and add volume to your forms. We’ll also cover trimming, glazing, and what happens during the firing process. 5 open studio hours included with class to work on your skills on your own. Have some experience already? Feel free to use this as open studio time and get tips from the instructor as needed. All supplies included.

Location: ARTS HUB - 515 School Street, Waupaca, WI 54981

Hi, I'm Chris Ritchie. I've been a professional potter for over a decade.

I discovered my passion for ceramics in high school and have been throwing ever since.

I can't wait to see what your imagination can coax out of your lump of clay.
