This craft uniquely combines art and woodworking. In this class, students will choose a flower design, select a wooden plaque to match their design, and use nails and string to craft a distinctive 3-D wall hanging. Clear instructions and all necessary materials will be provided. It is recommended to bring a small hammer if you have one, though extra hammers will be available. Be aware that this project can be loud, so earplugs and earmuffs will be available for those sensitive to sound. This activity will challenge your finger dexterity and fine motor skills as the nails being used are quite small. Ultimately, each student will leave with a personalized piece of art unlike any other.
