Throwing Sampler October

Never thrown pottery before?  No big deal, we are going to teach you! This class is for EVERYONE ages 16+. Maybe you had a clay class in high school, or maybe you have always wanted to do this, but you did not know where to start? This is the place for you; we offer a welcoming learning environment for everyone!

This is an introductory 2-session class that will give you the chance to use a potter’s wheel while our instructor guides you through the process to make your very own unique piece or two.

In week one, we will teach you the basic techniques of centering and the building blocks for creating a wheel-thrown piece. Come ready to get a little dirty and have a good time; we like to laugh and have fun here!

The next week, you come back to put your own personal style on your piece by glazing it.

Class fee includes 1-2 pieces, glazing, and firing. Items will be ready for pickup in about 3-4 weeks (we email as soon as they are ready)
