**Children 7-12 must attend with an adult - both must register for the class and the adult should be ready to assist the child.

Home is where the birds are! In this class you will be weaving a birdhouse! This birdhouse will look adorable in your backyard or sitting on your porch. You will be able to clean it out in the fall. Makes a great gift. In this basket class you will learn basic basket weaving – how to prepare your material, measuring, marking, start stop weaving & rimming. Beginners welcome!

Instructor Barbara Johnson

In 1998 Barbara wove her first basket and was instantly hooked. Since then, she has continually advanced her skills by attending basket weaving conferences and belonging to a basketry guild.

Teaching basket weaving has become a passion, specializing in practical, functional reed baskets. Barbara loves weaving baskets and helping others learn the art. It is her goal when she teaches her classes, that the people in her class leave with a finished basket that they are proud of and have a great time learning about basket weaving.
