Arts Hub Teen Rock Band

The Arts Hub Teen Rock Band is open to middle and high school students.

Participating in the Rock Band offers teens a valuable outlet for creativity, connection, and personal growth. It helps build confidence through live performances, strengthens teamwork as members collaborate on music, and fosters discipline through regular practice and commitment.

Students who wish to join the Rock Band must receive prior approval from their music lesson instructor. The instructor will assist with placement based on each student's ability and other factors. The band will meet every other week and perform at least once per semester.

Instructor: Rebecca Kolonick

Rebecca Kolonick grew up in the Waupaca area and is very excited to be back. She has taught in public and private schools for nine years, including teaching grades 4K-12th in different classes such as band, orchestra, general music, and choir. Her specialty is percussion. She enjoys working on a variety of music and looks forward to the different opportunities that the Art Hub presents for the community.
