POP Studio Brings Creativity to Life at the Waupaca Arts Hub
There’s something special happening at the Waupaca Arts Hub—creativity is coming to life one brushstroke at a time in our Paint Your Own Pottery (POP) studio.
POP has quickly become a favorite destination for individuals, families, and friends looking for a fun, relaxing, and creative experience. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, our studio offers a welcoming space to unplug, unwind, and make something uniquely your own.
Guests can choose from a wide variety of pottery pieces, with prices ranging from $6 to $60. Every piece includes glazing and kiln firing, so once you’ve finished painting, we take care of the rest. When your masterpiece is ready—typically within 2–3 weeks—we’ll give you a call to pick it up.
POP is also the perfect place to gather and celebrate. We are now booking group parties for groups of eight or more, complete with a personal party attendant to make your experience easy and enjoyable. The cost is $50 for the group space, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, making it a flexible and affordable option for birthdays, team outings, or just a creative get-together with friends.
For those who prefer to drop in, the studio is open to walk-in guests Monday through Thursday from 2:00–7:00 PM (last admittance at 6:00 PM) and Friday from 2:00–6:00 PM (last admittance at 5:00 PM)
One of the most rewarding parts of POP has been connecting with members of our community. It’s been so much fun meeting people who are eager to be creative—and it’s also a wonderful opportunity for us to introduce them to the many classes, events, and activities happening throughout the Hub.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue growing POP. We hope to expand our hours, especially during the busy summer months, and are currently looking for additional staff and volunteers to help us do just that. With occasions like Teacher Appreciation Week, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduation season right around the corner, POP offers a meaningful way to create a one-of-a-kind, handmade gift.
